The bluebonnets at the Hobbs Cemetery were not stunted by last weekend's cold spell, as you can tell by the picture posted here. The caretakers are doing a good job keeping the place nice.

During the chamber meeting, Mike Wilks said that plans were underway for this year's Hog Fest, to be held the weekend of October 13. Matt Martindale and the Hogg Maulies are slated for entertainment.
