is the name of the little orange flower I posted about previously. I finally found the information at
NCRS, the USDA's Plants Database. I was able to download a list of the plants that grow just in Fisher County, and got lucky enough that this flower was just about number five on the list. I say download, but all I had to do was cut and past into Excel. Lots of plant info!
Thats a cool site but no California listings. Your quite the botany detective!
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks, just too much time on my hands. You can find the listings for your area by going to advanced search and then county distribution. Check display in report, then click review selections at the bottom. On the page that comes up, go to the bottom and change view the list to common name. Click display report now and you'll have your list. Not user friendly but it has more info than the other sites I've found. Happy Easter!
