  1. I am very saddened to hear of this news. Andrew and Louise were former neighbors of mine and just the sweetest couple that there ever was. Its really an interesting story of how my mother (Kathleen Hale) was "formely introduced" to the neighbors (the Williams). She was teaching in Snyder and was driving..uh sliding down the dirt..uh mud.. road towards Hobbs when she got stuck and a "wall" of water came gushing down the wash out before Spring Creek and washed her car into the pasture. Luckily it was in yelling distance to the Williams' house and Andrew and Ricky came to the rescue and pulled her to safety in the Tractor. The car was washed away and is probably now sitting at the Bottom of Lake Possum Kingdom. My heart goes out to Louise and Ricky and his family, Andrew was such a Distinguished Gentleman and a Great man.

  2. It would certainly make an impression upon your neighbors to meet them that way! I'm sure they would never forget you.

Ricky drives the school bus that picks up the Hobbs kids. I get to talk to him every once in awhile. I like him and he's such a clever person. Along with everything else he does, he also makes beautiful willow furniture.

I don't know if you got to read Andrew's obituary, but it was very good. Whoever wrote it was able to be humorous and respectful at the same time.

I'll make sure Penny gets your shout out.

    I'm glad you found us!
